Butternut squash noodles with Gorgonzola sauce, walnuts and bacon

Did you know you can make delicious squash noodles? These Butternut squash noodles have become one of my favorite meals ever! Today I´m gonna show you how to make this recipe, which it´s a healthier option (okay, maybe just a little bit healthier), and delicious! And of course, very easy to do. I have to say that I had some problems with the pumpkin, because at the beginning I tried to make this recipe in the frying pan, but the noodles got completely destroyed. So as a tip, it´s better to boil them (in the pan they will be delicious, but forget about the noodle-shape). I usually try to create…

Kagura Ramen, a little piece of Japan in Madrid

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to do another review of a restaurant that I visited the last time I was in Madrid. I´m talking about Kagura Ramen, one of the most famous ramen restaurants in the city nowadays. Keigo Onoda, Chef of Kagura Ramen, has been improving his recipe over the years to become the success that it is today. In addition, the restaurant has a team in charge of making the noodles daily, a fundamental piece of its success. His specialty is Ramen based on pork broth and vegetables, seasoned with shouyu sauce or miso. They also offer their seasonal ramen menu choices such as the famous Tantanmen, which…

Tokyo Ramen Iki, best discovery of the week

Last week I discovered one of the greatest ramen restaurants in Amsterdam. I heard a lot about this place in the past, but never had the chance to go. Tokyo Ramen Iki serves ramen made of chicken using a secret recipe that gives the broth a really creamy and flavorful texture. I must say everything that I heard or read, was true. I went with a group of friends to the restaurant located in Vijzelstraat (there are two more restaurants in the city). It´s a small restaurant, just a few tables and minimal decoration. Each of us ordered a different ramen, and all of them were delicious. You have several…
